When To Volunteer
One of the best reasons to volunteer with NICA is that we are working in the community throughout the year. Our calendar for volunteers is always rolling so we are as flexible as you are when it comes to scheduling your trip. We understand volunteering abroad is a big step and takes planning, so we offer three different options that have rolling dates throughout the year.
Spring Break
Growing in popularity, the Alternative Spring Break for college students offers opportunities to volunteer abroad during the traditional spring break week.
Summer Break
The summer months are the busiest for travel, and we know these are often the best months to plan a volunteer trip abroad as well.
Year Round
NICA's year round calendar sets our volunteer program apart from every other. Not only do we design sustainable projects around your interests, we also have a rolling calendar that can accommodate just about any schedule.
